About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Elkton, MD. As a key member of our pain management team, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patient pain issues in accordance with the standard of care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient medical history, relevant imaging, and studies to develop a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Utilize a multimodal approach to pain management, including medication, physical therapy, and bracing where appropriate
  • Interpret medical tests and explain results to patients
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner
  • Monitor patient compliance with treatment plans
  • Adhere to company policies, quality improvement objectives, and safety standards
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal and state health information privacy laws
  • Record complete, timely, and legible medical records
  • Liaise with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with medical developments and advancements
  • Promote the company's core values and mission
  • Collaborate with administrative team to optimize clinic functionality
  • Assist with marketing efforts as needed
  • Participate in and complete required trainings and in-services
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • PA-C/NP licensure in MD
