Amedisys, one of the largest and most trusted home health and hospice companies in the U.S., is seeking a skilled Hospice Liaison to join their team. This role requires experience in outside sales/business development within the healthcare industry. An ideal candidate will have a background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long-term care.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, plus bonus potential. The company offers an attractive pay package that includes a full benefits program with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans, paid time off, up to $1,300 in free healthcare services per year, and up to $500 in wellness rewards.

Responsibilities

This role involves educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with key referral sources, coordinating patient admissions, conducting on-site visits to assess patient needs, and achieving admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have at least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and liability insurance are also essential requirements. This role requires travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
