Certified Athletic Trainer

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, a leading full-service orthopedic and spine group, is seeking a Per-Diem Certified Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services to high schools in the Clovis Unified School District.

This position will involve providing injury prevention, management, and care to athletes at a 2000+ student high school, with direction from Sierra Pacific Orthopedics. The Certified Athletic Trainer will be responsible for game-day duties, inventory management, and supervising ROP and AT students who will rotate with them.

Excellent communication and conflict management skills are essential for this role, as the Certified Athletic Trainer will serve as a liaison between athletes, parents, coaches, and the director of Sports Medicine at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics.

The school district also offers opportunities to work on district-funded events, which are paid separately by the school district.

Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer and certification are preferred. Compensation will be based on level of experience combined with education and/or qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• Provide athletic training services to high schools in the Clovis Unified School District
• Manage game-day duties, inventory, and supervise ROP and AT students
• Develop and implement injury prevention and management programs
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaches, and the director of Sports Medicine

Compensation:

Range: $30-$42 per hour
