Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt House White Plains. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our property sales leaders, ensuring seamless communication and execution of sales-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to telephone calls and communicate relevant account information to managers and departments.
  • Prepare and process correspondence, proposals, and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Distribute important documents, such as memos, contracts, and room requests, to relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts and correspondence, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate room reservations, meeting space, and banquet space as needed, ensuring seamless execution of events.
  • Adhere to sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hotel or sales experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment and Context
  • Work schedule may vary and may include occasional work on holidays and weekends.
  • Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate the keyboard.
