Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional speech therapy services to individuals in our community. Our team is passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  2. Therapy Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
  3. Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing progress and success.
  4. Documentation and Professional Development: Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology research, techniques, and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Alabama.
  2. Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients, preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
