Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric and adult populations.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  3. Therapy Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
  4. Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques.
  5. Documentation and Professional Development: Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology research, techniques, and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  2. Licensure: Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Alabama.
  3. Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  4. Experience: Previous experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients, preferred.
  5. Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
