Job SummaryThis exciting opportunity is for an experienced Energy Operations Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation within an assigned organization, supporting the company's goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power plant operations, maintenance, fuels or I&C, with a proven track record of leadership and experience in directing work teams to achieve safety and productivity goals.
The Energy Operations Leader will be accountable for ensuring that employees perform their duties in a manner consistent with a cognizance of customer awareness and concern, while adhering to the company's business and ethical standards and assuring compliance with all applicable government and industry regulations and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the work of employees in meeting safety and productivity goals, ensuring the team and its members follow all work practices.
- Coordinate with other Foremen and shifts to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Assist in the development of and execution of work schedules and tasks given to assigned employees, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities when called upon, exercising good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Communicate effectively in all directions, including with employees, other Foremen, and management.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- An Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least eight (8) years of experience as a Technician in an appropriate area of plant operations, maintenance, fuels or I&C.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including attention to safety, equipment use, and employee performance.
- Effective communication and motivational skills.
- A minimum performance rating of 'B' for the past two years and no discipline within the last 24 months.
- Satisfactory attendance record and ability to work in a power plant environment.
Constellation offers a competitive salary range of $106,200 to $118,000, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, and robust wellness programs.
