Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Western State Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to transform lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, document, and direct the clinical care carried out by professional and paraprofessional nursing personnel in compliance with applicable nursing standards of care and practice.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' medical and psychiatry needs with a focus on providing the highest patient-focused quality care possible.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and their families to educate them in regard to the treatment plan.
Requirements
  • Valid Washington State license to practice as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain a valid Washington State license by the start of employment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred but not required.
