Registered Nurse 2

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Eastern State Hospital. As a Registered Nurse 2, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in our Geropsychiatric Unit, Adult Psychiatric Unit, and Forensic Services Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients on social skills, functional skill development, and medications.
- Monitor patients' behavior and de-escalate high-risk situations as needed.
- Participate in the management of psychiatric and medical emergencies.
- Assess and evaluate patients with behavioral health issues and chart significant changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments for patients.
- Valid Washington State license or compact RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
