About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dam Engineer to join our team in Oakland, CA. As a key member of our Dams and Reservoirs group, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary project teams in developing solutions for key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in developing solutions for key clients
  • Collaborate with technical leads to provide guidance and expertise
  • Manage project delivery and integration of technical leaders
  • Develop and implement project management frameworks
  • Provide technical input to studies and design efforts
  • Presents complex technical solutions to clients
  • Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others
  • Participates in development of technical proposals
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related study + 8 years of relevant experience
  • California Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15 years of relevant experience including dam analysis, investigation, design, construction, project management
  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
  • Heavy civil construction design experience
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Business development for new and existing clients
