The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Senior International Tax Analyst to enhance our vibrant Tax Operations team. In this crucial role, you will have the opportunity to innovate and implement tax reporting strategies, challenge conventional workflows, and collaborate with our tax planning and regional teams to develop new global tax reporting frameworks. Your enthusiasm for technology, innovative mindset, and ability to motivate others will be instrumental in advancing tax operational excellence to support our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in the U.S. international tax compliance process, including the preparation of international tax calculations and necessary forms.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual U.S. international tax provision calculations.
- Drive automation projects by bridging technical requirements, conceptualizing workflows, and effectively communicating tax needs to deliver impactful solutions.
- Collaborate with the tax planning team on mergers and acquisitions integration and tax planning efforts.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and external tax advisors as required.
- Stay informed on emerging tax regulations and industry trends, translating these developments into relevant insights for Netflix.
- Contribute to the team's growth by providing guidance and mentorship to junior members.
- Strong alignment with Netflix's culture and long-term vision.
- 8+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate settings, with a solid foundation in U.S. international tax concepts and reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Extensive experience with OneSource OTP and OIT.
- Proficient in data analysis tools, including Excel and Alteryx.
- Skilled in prioritizing and managing tasks independently, with project management capabilities.
- Comfortable leading discussions with cross-functional partners on tax-related topics.
- Possess a growth mindset, demonstrating adaptability and quick learning.
