Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As an Outpatient Oncology Chemo Infusion Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
  • Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
  • Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • ACLS is required if in the BMT and CRU (department nurse role).
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of professional nursing experience.
  • Oncology experience.
  • Chemo Infusion Experience.

Work Environment

This role will be working in our 70-chair unit that provides comprehensive cancer care, including chemotherapy and immune therapy, as well as supportive care and transfusion services. Our team is interdisciplinary and consists of nursing, pharmacy, lab, scheduling, and advanced practice providers providing compassionate, whole-person care.
