Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mission Assurance Construct Implementation Analyst to deliver expert technical guidance, analytical support, and assistance in the execution of the Mission Assurance Construct. This role is crucial for the identification, evaluation, risk management, and oversight of Department of Defense (DoD) strategic assets, as well as supporting critical Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) resilience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and support the functions of the Mission Assurance Coordination Board (MACB), including organizing meetings and producing essential documentation, presentations, and analyses.
  • Offer technical advice and recommendations for integrating the Mission Assurance Construct into broader DoD processes, including budgetary frameworks and strategic guidance documents.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and provide support for the development and review of key US Government and DoD Strategic Guidance Documents related to Mission Assurance and resilience.
  • Prepare and coordinate updates for senior leadership to keep them informed about the progress of Mission Assurance Construct implementation.
  • Advise on enhancing the incorporation of the Mission Assurance framework into related programs and activities, ensuring comprehensive reviews of existing guidance.
  • Assist in the evaluation and prioritization of Defense Critical Asset lists and provide technical insights for developing additional relevant lists.
  • Support the evolution of mechanisms that enable the MACB to effectively manage risks associated with Defense Critical Assets and monitor their status.
  • Contribute to the development of policy training requirements for DCI risk management and resilience, integrating these into DoD training programs.
  • Facilitate the creation and functionality of the Mission Assurance database, ensuring effective information sharing and management.
  • Provide recommendations on policy guidance to align database capabilities with the needs of the Mission Assurance framework.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active top-secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master’s Degree in Homeland Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and prioritize operational risks, including physical and cyber threats.
  • Experience in formulating and executing plans to ensure operational continuity during crises, including IT disaster recovery strategies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
