Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our customers in identifying and eliminating unwanted pests. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting customers' premises, advising on treatment options, and performing pest control services in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the type of treatment required to eliminate a particular pest
  • Advise customers on the type of treatment required to eliminate identified pests
  • Inspect customers' premises to identify pest problems
  • Fulfill all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job
  • Communicate with office staff to schedule services with customers
  • Apply suitable pesticides to infested areas, following label instructions and safety procedures
  • Respond to customers' requests for various pest control services
  • Identify opportunities to sell additional company services and products
  • Adjust chemical mixtures according to the size of the infested areas
  • Safely utilize and care for a company service vehicle

Requirements:

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Nicotine-free (no cigarettes, chewing tobacco, or vaping)
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Pass a CORI check and drug test
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Able to keep our vehicles at your residence, including off-street parking
  • Able to study independently to pass the MA state pest control test

Compensation: 19-24 Hourly Wage
