Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Assembly Technician with a strong background in the satellite antenna, defense, or related sectors. This position requires the execution of intricate mechanical and technical tasks essential for the assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-mechanical devices and components. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of complex mechanical and technical tasks, including troubleshooting and assembling intricate electronic and mechanical components.
  • Assemble component parts and complete units, integrating electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and structural assemblies for satellite antenna products.
  • Wire panels, junction boxes, and other components to facilitate manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct soldering tasks, including connecting components and wires.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance manufacturing processes and implement best practices.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to plan and improve satellite antenna products or mechanical devices.
  • Drive design improvements and cost-saving initiatives through technical expertise.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members to promote success and knowledge sharing.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and training.
  • Ability to pass a basic soldering test.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Strong manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and recommend enhancements in manufacturing techniques and processes.
  • This role may require access to technology regulated under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Candidates must meet the definition of a "U.S. Person" as outlined by ITAR and EAR.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds safely during manufacturing tasks.

Compensation: $28.80 per hour
