Job Description:
We are looking for dedicated full-time Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing setting.
This position is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a competitive starting hourly wage of $16-17/hr, with the possibility of salary increases based on individual performance.
The work schedule is first shift (Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p), with potential for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as reliability, strong organizational skills, mechanical aptitude, effective communication, diligence, punctuality, and a keen attention to detail. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential.
Key Skills Required:- Mechanical assembly expertise
- Ability to interpret assembly diagrams
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Skill in identifying components (pulleys, bearings, springs, gears)
- Knowledge of hardware (screws, bolts, nuts, washers, snap rings)
