POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Oversee the service department team and manage customer service engagements, sales activities, and service contract administration.
  • Prioritize exceptional service delivery, identify sales opportunities, and drive profitability.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with customers and suppliers to encourage repeat business.
  • Accountable for generating revenue through service agreements, spare parts, and minor project initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute sales strategies to secure annual service agreements and facilitate renewals.
  • Lead a team of service technicians, assist customers, troubleshoot systems, and ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide pricing estimates for services beyond the scope of service agreements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to supply spare parts as needed.
  • Build and sustain positive, productive relationships with customers and suppliers.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Combination of office and field settings.
  • Travel may be necessary based on client requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting in an office environment.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking at job sites.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exhibit strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Possess problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting of Material Handling Systems is advantageous.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
