POSITION SUMMARY:
- Oversee the service department team and manage customer service engagements, sales activities, and service contract administration.
- Prioritize exceptional service delivery, identify sales opportunities, and drive profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with customers and suppliers to encourage repeat business.
- Accountable for generating revenue through service agreements, spare parts, and minor project initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute sales strategies to secure annual service agreements and facilitate renewals.
- Lead a team of service technicians, assist customers, troubleshoot systems, and ensure optimal performance.
- Provide pricing estimates for services beyond the scope of service agreements.
- Collaborate with project teams to supply spare parts as needed.
- Build and sustain positive, productive relationships with customers and suppliers.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of office and field settings.
- Travel may be necessary based on client requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting in an office environment.
- Extended periods of standing and walking at job sites.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exhibit strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Possess problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting of Material Handling Systems is advantageous.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
