ROLE OVERVIEW

In the capacity of a Lead Cloud Security Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Major Accounts prospects and clients, reporting directly to the Major Solutions Engineer Manager. You will collaborate closely with Major account executives to reshape our clients' perspectives on cloud security. Your expertise will position you as a trusted advisor on all cloud security matters across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. We are enthusiastic about technical sales and committed to helping our clients derive maximum value from our solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Major Accounts team to deliver technical guidance to our clients and potential clients while assisting our team in achieving their sales objectives.
  • Conduct presentations for our clients and prospects, including whiteboard sessions, product demonstrations, slide presentations, and proof of value outcomes.
  • Assist clients and prospects in developing comprehensive test plans to showcase the value of the Wiz platform within their environments.
  • Dedicate time to acquiring knowledge about new product features, industry developments, and enhancing your overall technical expertise.
  • Represent Wiz at technical forums, including trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional demonstrations and training experiences to our channel clients.
  • Expertise in the technical sales process.
  • Ability to thrive in a creative technical role, assisting partners in establishing a technical business delivery model.
  • Experience in a sales engineering capacity, providing solutions to C-level executives at major accounts.
  • Background in cloud security.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of network engineering.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, virtual machines, and container technologies.
  • Familiarity with risk-based security assessments and frameworks.
  • Understanding of cloud identity, access management, certificates, and keys.
  • Experience with traditional Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
  • Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Awareness of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
