Job Summary

CereCore is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work closely with our data teams to develop and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This includes working with data scientists, business leaders, and IT teams to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GCP services, including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery. You will also have experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark Streaming and Kafka.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with data and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems on GCP
  • Work closely with data teams to develop and implement data solutions
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business leaders, and IT teams to understand their requirements and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, and BigQuery
  • Work with data processing frameworks such as Spark Streaming and Kafka
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with GCP services, including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark Streaming and Kafka
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
