Job Title: Shift Supervisor

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding store personnel to achieve maximum productivity, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel
  • Assume responsibility for store operations and commercial department in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Manage commercial accounts and ensure timely deliveries
  • Delegate and ensure store merchandising tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling duties
  • Ensure all company policies and loss prevention procedures are followed
  • Utilize ZNET to assist customers with merchandise location and alternatives
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure AutoZoners are implementing safety practices
  • Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control
  • Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards
  • Conduct and review opening and closing procedures
  • Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures
  • Follow proper accident procedures
  • Provide feedback on AutoZoner performance to the Store Manager
  • Assist with monitoring and managing Risk & Safety Management to maintain a safe work environment
  • Address customer concerns and resolve them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment
  • Process returns and effectively manage inventory
  • Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to the Store Manager in a timely and confidential manner
  • Motivate AutoZoners to provide exceptional customer service, enhance productivity, and market products to enhance sales and profits
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ASE Certified preferred
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to drive customer service
