About the Opportunity
WOLF is seeking a full-time Senior Field Application Engineer specializing in Technical Sales. This role is remote and based in the USA.

As a key member of our team, reporting to the VP of Business Development, you will provide essential pre-sales technical support and drive sales growth for WOLF's advanced technology solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-sales technical assistance to prospective clients
  • Supporting the sales team during customer conference calls
  • Managing client relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
  • Understanding end-user applications and technology requirements
  • Creating comprehensive proposals and documentation
  • Identifying potential customers and developing new accounts
  • Preparing cost estimates by analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documents
  • Maintaining CRM and forecasts through data entry and lead management
  • Representing WOLF at trade shows and conferences to promote our products

About You

To qualify for this position, you should possess:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales or technical support, ideally within the Embedded Solutions Market
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical, software, or aerospace
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer that requires strict adherence to CGP and ITAR regulations. Applicants must provide valid documentation of US citizenship and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

Additional valued skills and experience include:

  • Proficiency in reading datasheets and understanding technical requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with XMC, VPX, NVIDIA, OpenVPX, FPGA, AMD, PCIe, GPU, and other relevant standards
  • Knowledge of SOSA, CMOSS, VICTORY, and similar standards
  • Engineering experience in military, defense, or aerospace sectors
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Established relationships within the defense and aerospace industries
  • Background in graphics (preferred)
  • Military service, Secret certification, and/or security clearance (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
