We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Missile Guidance Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software and simulation toolchains for the Glide Phase Interceptor Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in combat system design, integration process, and missile guidance algorithms. Experience with 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation, C++, MATLAB, and Python is required. Additionally, knowledge of raid analysis, debris impact on sensors, and discrimination effects is a plus.

This position may be offered at the Principal Engineer GNC Level 3 or Sr. Principal GNC Level 4. If offered at the Principal Engineer GNC Level 3, the candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience. If offered at the Sr. Principal Engineer GNC Level 4, the candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience.

The estimated salary for this position is $92,600 - $139,000 per year. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and a savings plan.
