Are you an innovative and experienced systems architect looking to take on a challenging role in weapon system integration? Northrop Grumman, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a talented individual to join our team.

As a Senior Systems Architect, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of missile design interfaces to the overall weapon system, partnering with external organizations to understand weapon system capabilities and requirements, and developing performance requirements between missile and weapon system. You will also perform trade studies to optimize missile engagement sequence and performance relative to weapon system input parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integrated product teams to implement missile design interfaces to the overall weapon system
  • Partner with external organizations to understand weapon system capabilities and requirements
  • Develop and balance performance requirements between missile and weapon system
  • Perform trade studies to optimize missile engagement sequence and performance relative to weapon system input parameters

This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge program, contributing to the development of advanced weapon systems that impact global security. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in systems architecture, experience working on complex programs, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of experience, or a PhD and 8 years of experience
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience in weapon system integration, spanning program lifecycle from requirements development through PDR, CDR to production
  • Negotiating requirements with external entities
  • Presenting to customers
  • Requirement decomposition experience

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $142,500 - $213,700 per year. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
