The Quality Assurance and Packaging Associate will be responsible for auditing and reconciling production counts throughout the manufacturing workflow.

This role ensures that product counts comply with all relevant standards and packing protocols before materials are transferred to subsequent production stages or shipping.

Responsibilities include shrink-wrapping and labeling product boxes to prepare them for dispatch. The associate must accurately account for, package, and dispose of any nonconforming products generated during the manufacturing process.

Compensation:
Hourly rate - $20.00

Shift differential - $2.00

Final hourly rate - $22.00

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct production audits to ensure all products are accounted for and verify production figures for each manufacturing stage (digital imaging, press, and finishing) in compliance with certified security protocols.

2. Manage the issuance of secured materials for each manufacturing process in accordance with certified security requirements.

3. Investigate, trace, and resolve any discrepancies identified during the audit process, following program guidelines or under the direction of the Security Supervisor or Security Manager when audit results do not align.

4. Oversee the final destruction/shredding of waste cards after confirming all good and bad cards during the audit.

Qualifications:


Requirements:

- Strong attention to detail

- Basic proficiency in English communication skills

- Fundamental computer skills

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to select and utilize appropriate equipment, supplies, and tools

- Proficient math skills for computing percentages, weights, and measures

- Strong detail orientation and decision-making skills for equipment setup, product quality checks, and adjustments to meet customer deadlines

- Ability to operate computer-aided machinery and a solid understanding of Windows-based personal computers, including data input/output and program management

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow and interpret written and verbal instructions and specifications

- Security and safety-oriented mindset

- Reliability demonstrated through good attendance, punctuality, and teamwork

Physical Requirements:


- Work primarily conducted in a standing position, requiring walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

- Noisy environment that may necessitate ear protection.

- Good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, and normal color vision are essential for ensuring product quality and maintaining safety.

- Full use of hands/fingers is required to operate precision or semi-precision equipment, tools, or instruments.

- Tasks involve dealing with fine details, which can be mentally and physically demanding.

- Work with rapidly moving machinery may require quick adjustments to minimize waste and time.

- Shifts may require overtime to meet production deadlines.
