By working to develop and support our financial management solutions, you can help integrate our solutions with human resources, revenue management, tax billing, and asset management.LocationLakewood, Colorado | Billings, Montana | Lubbock, TexasTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and grow a team of QA Test Analysts and Automation Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.Transform the organizational mindset to make quality an intrinsic part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring every product is delivered at the highest standard and customer expectations are exceeded.Define and implement scalable QA processes where none exist, building systems of accountability and collaboration across QA, development, and product teams.Establish, track, and continuously improve key quality metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to guide the team and drive strategic decisions.Effectively communicate key quality metrics and KPIs to stakeholders across all levels to both technical and non-technical team membersOversee testing efforts, timelines, and coordination of both automation and manual testing, ensuring a seamless integration of performance and load testing into the CI/CD pipeline.Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and Release Managers to define test strategies, plan execution, and align quality efforts with business and product goals, particularly in Agile and continuous delivery-driven environments.Provide expert guidance on test scope, test case preparation, and industry best practices for functional, performance, load, and automation testing.Align quality control with the requirement to deliver 99.9+% uptime, anticipating and resolving quality issues proactively to minimize downtime or disruptions.Drive innovation in QA processes by leveraging cutting-edge automation, performance, and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and ensure continuous improvement in all testing efforts.Build and lead the QA function from the ground up, scaling teams, systems, and processes to support multiple products across the organization.Foster a culture of shared responsibility for quality, working across departments to ensure testing processes are transparent, efficient, and aligned with CI uptime and product quality goals.Lead internal QA workshops and develop training programs to promote team growth, ongoing education, and best practices. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.12+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record of creating and implementing QA processes and automating manual testing efforts to improve efficiency.7+ years of experience in a QA management role, demonstrating leadership in building and scaling QA teams, implementing automation frameworks, and driving performance/load testing initiatives.Deep expertise in continuous integration (CI) processes, with a strong understanding of how quality impacts uptime and the critical role of QA in maintaining 99.9+% availability.Demonstrated success in developing KPIs and metrics that provide actionable insights into QA performance, enabling continuous process improvements.Proven ability to manage QA efforts across multiple products, working closely with cross-functional development and product teams to align quality objectives with business goals.Experience with complex ERP systems-knowledge of Tyler Technologies software or high-volume online applications is a plus.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA best practices, automation tools, and performance testing tools.Exceptional leadership skills that inspire confidence and respect, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams in a creative, results-driven environment.A passion for excellence in product quality, with a customer-first mentality and a relentless drive to deliver reliable, high-quality software.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Ability to travel occasionally.
