Electrical Integration Engineer Job Description

Jabil is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Integration Engineer to lead electrical design functions for data center equipment and products. This role involves collaborating with client engineering teams, assisting in conceptual designs, and working with production sites to implement product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee electrical systems essential for data centers, energy storage systems, and HVAC applications.
  • Develop specifications, select key components, route wires and cables, establish connections, and transition design to manufacturing.
  • Lead test process implementation and ensure equipment alignment to maintain operational excellence and reliability.
  • Prepare and review short circuit coordination studies and maintain software models to match as-built site conditions.
  • Review control panel design and UL standards for designing and building control panels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience in mission-critical facility designs, knowledge of electrical systems used in data center environments, and experience with industry standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in electrical specification development, component selection, and system integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
