About the Role

SOLV Energy is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider for utility solar, high voltage substation, and energy storage markets across North America. We are seeking a highly skilled EPC Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the jobsite team in coordinating and managing project deliverables to achieve project profitability and schedule goals.
  • Coordinate and complete assigned projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Attend and document project meetings, maintaining accurate records and minutes.
  • Set up and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring seamless document management.
  • Assist in preparing CPM schedules, updating and maintaining master CPM schedules, and evaluating construction means and methods.
  • Maintain site-specific safety plans, pre-task planning processes, and conduct audits, meetings, and training as required.
  • Distribute documents to subcontractors, maintain document logs, and evaluate field problems, documenting PCI's and preparing PCI logs on the CMiC system.
  • Review, analyze, and transmit submittals, prepare and maintain submittal logs and procurement logs, and perform expediting functions.
  • Code Accounts Payable Workflows, verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports, and report quantities in place, maintaining labor cost reports.
  • Prepare and document extra work orders, review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys, and maintain PCI logs in the CMiC system.
  • Set up and maintain Quality Management systems, maintain progress photo albums, and compile contract close-out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.).
  • Document punch list work, perform basic functions of Building Information Modeling and model administration, and complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of construction-related experience, or equivalent.
  • Construction-related internship experience preferred.
  • Field experience a plus (e.g., carpenter).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
  • Basic understanding of construction cost accounting, estimating, and scheduling skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
  • Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, self-start, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drafting and advanced computer skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems preferred.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off. Compensation Range: $72,000 - $85,000.00. Pay Rate Type: Salary.
