Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Verification Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Digital Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and verifying digital systems, including FPGA/CPLD designs, requirements, and system validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and verify digital systems, including FPGA/CPLD designs, requirements, and system validation
  • Develop verification plans, test benches, bus functional models, and HW-SW integration debugging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery
  • Drive complex technical problems to closure
  • Lead product delivery and advance the verification process for wireless products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline with 5 years of digital verification engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience in VHDL within the last 3 years
  • FPGA development process experience (requirements definition, conceptual design, detailed design, verification, and production release)
  • Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as QuestaSim
  • A final DoD Secret clearance is required to start with ability to obtain higher level clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting languages for Verification automation (Perl, TCL, Bash, and Makefile)
  • Knowledge of Computer Architectures and Digital design (Memories, bus standards, microprocessors)
  • Experience with functional verification methodology for the full life cycle of products
  • SoC verification and hardware accelerated simulation experience

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $118,000 - $177,000
