Job Summary

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for developing, increasing, and maintaining sales for the assigned regional area of responsibility. This role assists the Region Sales Manager with the daily operation and profitability of the assigned regional area, including sales, business development, product training, and support, as well as all safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the profitability of the regional area of responsibility, including timely preparation and completion of budgets, sales forecasts, and submission of financial reports.
  • Responsible for sales efforts in the assigned regional area, maintaining relationships, client portfolios, and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts.
  • Maintain contact with clients on a regular basis through client meetings and external meetings at clients' offices for contractual negotiations and technical presentations.
  • Participate in the development of technical manuals and sales literature, assist sales personnel in technical sales presentations, or provide technical presentations directly to customers.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Responsible for field sales activities, including ongoing professional training as required.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of oil and gas industry experience required.
  • Strong communication skills required to interface with various levels within the company and with clients.
  • Ability to interact effectively with O&G clients and Core Lab/Owen company personnel to provide information and technical support.
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
