  • Shift Differentials:
    • + 2nd Shift: 6% added to hourly wage
    • + 3rd Shift: 8% added to hourly wage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate LP sit-down forklifts with capacities ranging from 6000lbs to 16000lbs to facilitate the movement of products within the facility.
  • Assist work cell operators by transporting raw materials to and from workstations.
  • Dispose of waste materials in designated dumpsters.
  • Utilize forklifts and electric pallet jacks to advance products through the manufacturing process.
  • Load products onto motor freight as needed.
  • Transport finished products to storage or shipping areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and equipment.

Key Competencies:

  • Prior experience operating sit-down, propane, and electric forklifts is required.
  • Ability to maneuver forklifts and pallet jacks in confined spaces.
  • Physical capability to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
  • Ability to assess loads and understand the impact on forklift capacity.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and mechanical principles is advantageous.
  • Competence in basic math and communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and complete simple logs and reports.
  • Experience with safety programs and training is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Adherence to scheduled hours and compliance with company policies is necessary.
