Job Title: Senior Developer

About the Role:

The Senior Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing solutions based on functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements.

As a seasoned professional, you will be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages such as C#,.NET Core, Microservices, Cloud Architecture, and APIs to develop applications.

You will approach software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality, and dabble in emerging technologies such as machine learning, IoT, and AI to develop solutions that improve business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Advance in-depth emerging technology and software delivery knowledge
  • Collaborate with business users, system analysts, developers, and ecosystem partners to bring innovative ideas from conception to launch at scale
  • Analyze and research new and existing products, procedures, and/or workflow needs associated with business systems
  • Work in an iterative/Agile environment and be a strong team player
  • Adopt emerging technologies and launch products/services faster with rapid prototyping and iterative methods
  • Proven ability to take prototypes to production, following engineering best practices
  • Build, configure, or customize the technical solution (reusable components, preconfigured solutions, cloud solution, and services)
  • Work closely with the System Architect and multiple Technology teams to champion the adoption of patterns, platforms, and tools to support the usage and conformity of solution architecture
  • Manage automation and monitor application integration as code iteratively goes through assembly and product tests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience or 8 years of related work experience
  • Background in software development using C#/.NET Core and Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Server, Azure API Management, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure App Services/Functions, Azure App Insights, and Azure DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
  • Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology
  • Familiar with the latest technologies, trends, standards, products, and applicability
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytics skills to develop technology solutions that solve business problems quickly
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to unblock critical issues during product development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in relevant technology/industry areas
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across different functional domains and technologies
  • Working knowledge in one or more of emerging technologies (e.g., Microservices, DevOps, Multi-Cloud technologies, IoT, Intelligent Automation, RPA, Test automation, artificial intelligence, etc.)
  • Familiar with Workforce Management, Quality Management, and Outbound Dialer technologies
  • Familiar with Microsoft Bot Framework
  • Familiar with Twilio Contact Center and related Twilio technologies such as Programmable Voice, Messaging Services, Event Streams, Studio Flow, Serverless Functions, and Conversation Services
  • Self-starter mentality and ability to spin up, configure development and test environments
  • Utilities industry experience
  • Excellent interpersonal relations skills
