Diesel Mechanic Technician

About the Role:
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining diesel and natural gas-powered trucks. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as well as more complex repairs, like engine overhauls and transmission replacements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain a fleet of trucks
- Welding and other metalwork
- Participate in safety and health initiatives
- Attend regular company meetings
- Adapt to changing duties as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certification
- 2-5 years of experience in a transportation environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- CDL B
- Tow motor and air brake certification
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift moderate to heavy materials
- Work in a variety of weather conditions
