Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Clinical Healthcare Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the proper dispensation of medications, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management.
- Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
