Lead IT Support Associate

The Lead IT Support Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless IT operations within the organization. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level technical support to internal teams and external clients, resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective IT operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed call logs and tickets, documenting customer interactions and ensuring accurate and timely resolution of issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve IT services and support.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring successful outcomes and minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support, with a strong background in Microsoft Office applications and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior team members.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, imaging, and ITSM processes/procedures.
  • Project Management experience a plus (e.g. device refresh projects).
  • A+, Network +, or other IT industry standard certifications ideal.
