The Manager of Lab Implementation will lead the Lab Implementation team, responsible for coordinating the implementation of lab instrumentation. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience, with 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of people leadership experience. They will be able to explore, build, and implement lean processes and efficiencies for teams, and have some knowledge of Laboratory practices preferred but not required.

As a Manager of Lab Implementation, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the daily activities of the lab implementation team to ensure all LIT projects are running smoothly and all service level agreements are met or exceeded.
  • Establishing streamlined, repeatable, standard operation procedures for all aspects of Lab Implementation and ensuring they are documented and shared across all team members.
  • Driving process improvement across LIT projects and refining as needed, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Developing, driving, and measuring metrics across the team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Developing a structured, documented, virtual training program designed in support of the LIT Support Model, Asana tool, and aligned with the lab sales strategy.
  • Developing strong working relationships with Lab & PC Leadership, other back-office functions, as well as our vendor partners.
  • Supporting the launch of new strategic lab vendors by working collaboratively with other cross-functional stakeholders to develop corporate and/or organizational processes to implementation of new product lines.
  • Driving performance and development activities, including leading through change, performance management of your team, self-directed continuing education and training to increase productivity, performance, and effectiveness.
  • Effectively communicating to and motivating the team, ensuring that they understand McKesson's strategy as it relates to LAB and the deliverables of the team.
  • Attracting talent for open roles, ensuring focus on diversity.

McKesson offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $68,800 - $114,600, as well as other benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
