Avera is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration process for patients and visitors at Avera Heart Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients and visitors with registration for services, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and timely completion of registration processes.
- Enter and update demographic and billing information into the computer system, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to Avera's strict confidentiality policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required; two-year degree a plus.
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
None required.
