Position Summary:
Under limited supervision, the Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling various mechanical units and subassemblies. This role involves a degree of repetitive tasks and requires adherence to specific guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical units and subassemblies with a focus on precision and quality.
- Follow blueprints and verbal or written instructions under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including saws, deburrers, tube benders, and hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
- Ensure products meet prescribed tolerances and perform operations such as wrapping and inserting fins.
- Conduct basic operations under supervision, including managing chemical processes and maintaining production logs.
