Primary responsibilities for Assembly Operators include:
- Maintain process flow for machining/assembling each part based on specific procedures and completing all daily production tracking reports accurately
- Perform quality check inspections by measuring (gauging) part diameters, depths, external and internal grooves, etc. as required for the work cell (machining or assembly)
- Demonstrate good understanding of all production-related documentation (e.g., PCC, Operation Sheets, SOS, FMEA, Key Point, Kan Ban, Flow Cards)
- Demonstrate good understanding of TPM by checking all fluid levels in the machines (e.g., oil, coolant, etc.), and participate in scheduled TPM activities
- Attend and successfully complete all operator training required for each Rank
- May participate in investigations and suggest countermeasures
- Train others when requested in areas where already achieved suitable Competency level
- Strive daily to meet Department and Company goals and objectives; improve (Kaizen) machine processes, support team leaders and members, and maintain a safe working environment for all
- Maintain strong attendance; knows and follows Company policies as directed by the Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual
- Other duties required of the job and requested by a member of Management Team

Requirements:
- This position is entry-level, no experience necessary
- 6+ months’ previous factory/manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good math skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and maneuver around the plant
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently
- Good hand strength with steady movement, good finger dexterity, repeatedly able to grasp small and large objects and rotate wrists, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to train others and work well in a team-oriented environment
Ability to adhere to a strict safety regimen and maintain a safety-conscious environment

Pay Details: 15.00 to 15.75 per hour
