VEIR Corp is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to provide essential design and drafting support to our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, and be proficient in creating detailed technical drawings that meet industry and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software, adhering to industry and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Designers, Engineers, and Production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Develop detailed models and assemblies in SolidWorks based on customer drawings, engineering notes, and sketches.
  • Ensure accuracy by reading and interpreting orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and manufactures drawings.
  • Process Engineering Change Notices and Design Packages, ensuring release to all relevant departments.
  • Maintain and develop parametric drawing templates to streamline the design process.
Requirements
  • Proficient in SolidWorks with 2+ years of modeling and drafting experience.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD or DraftSight, particularly in piping and technical drafting.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (2D/3D).
  • Experience with P&ID drafting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
