The Mount Sinai Health System seeks a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join its practice at the Institute for Advanced Medicine in Queens. This esteemed physician will provide exceptional primary and preventive care within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides acute/urgent care of emergent/acute illnesses and injuries, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Delivers comprehensive medical services to patients, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide quality medical care.
  • Sees patients in a timely and efficient manner, staying reasonably on time for scheduled appointments.
  • Diagnoses and provides medical treatment, formulates treatment plans, and manages short and long-term conditions.
  • Performs complete and focused physical exams, provides patients and family members with counseling and education, and verifies and documents patient understanding of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Facilitates patient access to medical care by recommending appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers.
