Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at RadNet. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality imaging services.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
Job DescriptionAs a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care. You will assure proper dosages of radionuclides are ordered for each patient, administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively, and explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
You will also maintain a nuclear medicine information system for all patient dosing, calibration, receiving, and disposition, as well as regulatory reports required by the RAM license. Under the direction of the radiologist, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients while providing excellent care.
- Assure proper dosages of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively.
- Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
- Maintain a nuclear medicine information system for all patient dosing, calibration, receiving, and disposition.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
- State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Experience working in a high-volume setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
