About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our team in the Survey Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight, mentoring, and project management to our survey staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Visioning and Leadership: Assist in identifying opportunities for growing the survey practice by expanding survey services, and implement sales strategies to provide sustainable growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical oversight of projects, ensuring quality assurance and quality control of procedures and work product.
  • Personnel Development and Recruiting: Provide mentoring and training to survey staff to ensure professional growth and development, and assist with the identification and recruiting of key personnel.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of professional surveying experience in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Survey license in West Virginia required; current WV PLS license preferred.
  • Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying.
  • Experience with survey project management, including preparation of proposals, tracking project budgets, and billing review.
  • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the survey practice.
  • Ability to assist in the growth of the survey practice using marketing and networking techniques.
