Position Summary:

As an Environmental Compliance Analyst at CMI, your primary focus will be on implementing industry best practices, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety improvement across designated construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct air quality assessments as required by the project site.
  • Perform inspections for asbestos compliance.
  • Carry out on-site evaluations and suggest effective safety practices.
  • Prepare necessary reports as dictated by the project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in environmental roles, including asbestos inspections.
  • Proficient in calibrating and operating air monitoring equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Willingness to undertake 1099 on-call assignments.

Educational Requirements:

  • Current PA Asbestos License is mandatory.
  • NIOSH 7400 certification is required.
  • First Aid CPR AED certification is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often on uneven surfaces.
  • Capability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crawl as necessary.
  • Capacity to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of a background check and potential drug screening is required.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be necessary based on project needs.
  • Residence within a reasonable commuting distance is preferred.
