Job Summary

The EHS Specialist will support the development and implementation of safety and compliance programs for our client's biotech company. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cGMP role and a strong understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with EHS programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Help maintain and update the Emergency Response Plan and readiness of personnel.
  • Conduct safety and environmental training, audits, and inspections.
  • Track incidents and near misses, creating reports for Senior Leadership.
  • Maintain EHS budget and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Participate in safety meetings and document activities.
Requirements
  • Experience in a cGMP role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving abilities and knowledge of bio-medical processes preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety Science, Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 1 year of EHS experience.
  • Regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and wet/humid conditions.
  • Mandatory attendance and on-call for emergencies.
