Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hospital are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hospital to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
- Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to environmental services.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the housekeeping team, including any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a hospital housekeeping or supervisory role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, bend, and push/pull at least 50 pounds.
