About the Role

The Environmental Sustainability Specialist will play a critical role in supporting high-level projects focused on sustainability, policy, and environmental compliance. This position will be based out of Morristown, NJ, and will involve working on a variety of projects, including greenhouse gas reporting, permitting efforts, and sustainability reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support greenhouse gas reporting, analysis, and lifecycle assessment (LCA).
  • Support permitting efforts, environmental compliance management systems, and auditing.
  • Support sustainability reporting, including corporate reports, CDP, and indices.
  • Provide support for sales teams on sustainability-related services.
  • Develop resources for education, outreach, and communication on environmental and sustainability-related topics.
  • Participate in and/or support community outreach, including through presentations and events with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering or science field.
  • 3 years of experience as an environmental or sustainability professional.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to facilitate working on multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS-Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
