Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our OrthoCarolina University OUC office location in Charlotte. As a Patient Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and prepare forms for their visit
  • Collect and verify patient information, entering it into EPIC for accurate claims processing
  • Prepare paperwork necessary for patient visits
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, make appointments, and perform cashier duties as directed
  • Follow processes for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion
Requirements
  • High school graduate; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical clinic setting
  • Good customer and computer skills, with working knowledge of insurance
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
