Job Summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide and coordinate orthopedic patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate orthopedic patient care, including performing routine office procedures and testing
  • Participate in patient teaching and communicate effectively with others
  • Assist the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care
  • Update clinical notes in electronic medical systems
  • Complete phone triage
  • Casting and bracing
  • Perform routine office procedures
  • Provide patient education
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing or a college degree in a related field
  • Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, current nursing license, ATC Board certification
  • New graduates are welcome
  • 2 -3 years of clinical assistant experience preferred
