Salary and Benefits

The Branch Manager position offers an initial salary range between $57,000-$67,000 plus performance bonus (based upon experience), as well as additional benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, annual reviews and merit based raises, generous paid vacation, holiday, and special day off opportunities, and relocation assistance when applicable.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced operations leader to join our team as a Branch Manager. In this role, you will be directly responsible for all operations for your respective branch, including growing, coaching, and leading all members of the service department, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction year-over-year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership: Grow, coach, and develop the Assistant Branch Manager
  • Daily Training Meetings: Oversee the execution of daily training meetings for the service team, ensuring they are informative, motivating, and engaging
  • Inspections and Quality Control: Oversee the execution of all required inspections, such as weekly truck inspections, monthly in-field training inspections, and weekly integrity inspections
  • Customer Service and Upselling: Personally train and work in the field with technicians to evaluate and improve upon customer service and up-sell skills while ensuring all performance standards are being met at every single service
  • Staffing and Route Planning: Ensure all customers receive their recurring service as scheduled by running accurate and timely staffing and job pool reports, constructing routes accordingly, and running route personally if needed
  • Customer Follow-up and Quality Control: Ensure our service consistently exceeds customer expectations by conducting personal follow up visits and quality control checks with customers
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations impacting human resource functions and ensure that policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Culture Building: Intentionally and diligently build a culture predicated upon purpose and drive engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certified Operator License: General Pest and WDO certification required - Lawn care a plus
  • Operations Experience: Proven operations experience in a high growth environment
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent Listening, Negotiation, and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as working outdoors in all weather conditions, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
