Cardiac Monitor Technician/ Telemetry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team at Emory Saint Joseph Hospital. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, delivering and applying telemetry boxes to patients, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
Key Responsibilities
Observes, interprets, and records telemetry recordings for monitored patients
Delivers and applies telemetry boxes to patients
Ensures correct patient is being monitored
Reports significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the healthcare team
Communicates pertinent information to patients as necessary
Produces accurate and complete documentation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Rhythm Analyst Technician (CRAT) preferred
Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course or passing an arrhythmia exam on hire
